How Compova processes personal data collected through this website.

Last updated: September 2026.

Data controller

The controller of personal data collected on www.compova.com is:

  • COMPOVA
  • Centre Systenium, 210 rue de l’Avenir, 14790 Verson, France
  • Phone: +33 7 49 87 03 88

Data collected

Through the contact form, Compova may collect: first name, last name, email address and the content of the message.

Technical data may also be processed automatically when browsing (for example IP address, browser type, pages viewed), including via the hosting provider’s server logs (OVH), for the operation and security of the site.

When the form is submitted, a spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) may send technical data (IP address, browser characteristics) to Cloudflare in order to distinguish humans from bots.

Purposes and legal basis

Contact form data is used to reply to enquiries and to follow up on related commercial or technical discussions. The legal basis is Compova’s legitimate interest in handling and responding to requests and, where applicable, taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Technical browsing data is processed to ensure the availability, security and proper operation of the site (legitimate interest).

The form spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) is used to protect the site against automated submissions (legitimate interest).

Recipients

Data is accessible to authorised persons within Compova. It may be hosted or transit through technical providers acting as processors: notably OVH (site hosting), Resend (sending emails from the contact form) and Cloudflare (Turnstile spam protection on the form).

Compova does not sell personal data and does not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention period

Messages received via the form are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then for up to three years from the last contact, unless a longer retention is required by law or for dispute purposes.

Technical logs are retained for a limited period, consistent with security practice and applicable obligations.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not set audience-measurement cookies, nor advertising cookies that require consent. A spam-protection mechanism (Cloudflare Turnstile) may run when the contact form is submitted; it is a security measure, without advertising tracking.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable French data-protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data and, where applicable, the right to data portability.

You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

To exercise your rights, contact Compova via the contact form or by phone at +33 7 49 87 03 88, stating the nature of your request. Proof of identity may be requested if there is reasonable doubt as to the identity of the requester.
